The closest space of the beach has a wonderful aquarium with exotic
collection of freshwater and tropical fishes. The aquarium offers the

with all kinds of enjoyable sources such as food stalls lining the

Major Attractions
Marina is the location of some of the most beautiful buildings in
Chennai such as the University of Madras, Senate-House, Chepauk Palace,
Presidency College, P.W.D office and Ice House. At the other end of the
beach is the new lighthouse. In between the pavements, there are several
statues of Tamil scholars and two important sculpture of the Victory of
Labour and the Mahatma Gandhi.
Location - Abutting the Bay of

world. It lies towards the east.
