The pretty beach of Goa is a shining jewel amongst all other beaches that has gummed swarm of tourists to their shacks and nightlife joints. Connected to a haunted past Goa's Donna Paula Beach is believed to built in the fond memories of Donna Paula, daughter of viceroy who killed herself by jumping off the cliff, dejected on being refused for her marriage to the local fisherman. Paula was entombed in the Cabo Chapel of Raj Bhavan. The beach, till date, is redolent with Donna's love-filled heart and an audacious sacrifice for sake of love. The lady love of the fisherman is seen in silhouette of the roaring waves with just a pearl necklace around her neck. The beach is mix n match of romance and exciting water sports as well as night life.

Water sports at Donna Paula is the most prominent activity that draws large number of invaders to the beach. National Oceanography Institute
The 1960s, edifice is one of the major attractions at Donna Paula beach. The National Oceanography Institute deals with the marine biology and incorporates almost all the major branches of coastal and marine oceanography. The two centre of attraction here is the institute is its Marine Biology Museum and Taxonomy Reference Center.

Cabo Raj Niwas
The Cabo is the place where the body of Donna Paula is engraved. The Raj Bhawan offers an excellent view of the nearby coastline and the Aguada Fort.
