Introduction This is the newest addition to the luxury train section of India. It was in January 2009, that this train took its maiden trip. Started on the line of Palace on Wheels, this train is the sophisticated version of Palace on Wheels. Jointly started by Rajasthan tourism development corporation and Indian railways, since its inception it has become the hottest tourist attraction of India. This train starts the journey from New Delhi and follows the same route and itinerary of Palace on Wheels. This eight day and seven night journey, which takes you through the most important tourist destinations of India, promises to be once in a lifetime experience.
Facilities on Board
In terms of luxury and comfort this train is better than all other existing luxury train in India. It is newly built and has been designed in a contemporary royal style. The magnificent interiors, delicious meals, expensive wines and personal service by Khidmatgar will surely make you feel like royal king aboard this magical journey. Royal Rajasthan on Wheels has a seating capacity of 82 people and consists of two super deluxe suites, two restobars, 13 deluxe saloons, international spa facilities, boardroom and wi-fi Internet facilities. Th interior of train is simply stunning and tourists will not stop gushing about it. Deluxe cabins comes with exotic names like Pearl, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire etc. There are some extra facilities like music channel and public address.
